About Us
My name is Bob Olsen and I am the owner and president of Bruin Corporation, 208 Pond Street, Ashland, MA. Bruin Corporation was established in 1981 as a residential and commercial home improvement contractor. Insulating homes was our primary business when we started. Today we install replacement windows and doors, siding, decking, sunrooms and insulation. Our showroom and warehouse are conveniently located on Route 126 in Ashland, MA.

Over the years Bruin Corporation has been in business, we’ve come to realize that New England homeowners like to make educated decisions about their home improvement efforts. Technologies are now available, blower door testing and infrared scanning, to show New England homeowners exactly where their home is wasting energy through drafts and cold areas. We created MassEnergyAudit.net to help educate New England homeowners on these technologies so that they can make informed decisions about how to best proceed with their home energy efficiency improvement efforts.
Conserving energy has become a high priority for most New England homeowners. Not only does it make economic sense - using less of our natural resources to heat our homes saves us money – it’s better overall for the environment. At Bruin, we believe that energy conservation efforts will continue to grow. We see support for this through government tax rebate programs, and through energy provider (NSTAR, National Grid) and manufacturer (Harvey, Andersen) incentive programs. We will continue to invest in MassEnergyAudit.net in order to provide resources and solutions to New England homeowners so they can make informed decisions about their energy efficiency efforts.
